Felix Chijioke Obike is a vibrant SPE member that has held numerous distinguished positions over the years including Council Treasurer, Council member, and Committee Chair to name a few. Having championed various committees in NAICE over the years, He is currently the Chairman of SPENC Adhoc committee on Condolences and Bereavement. He currently works as a Well Services Engineer at Seplat Energy and has accrued 29 years of relevant industry experience in prolific organizations such as SHELL Nigeria and ADNOC. He has worked in diverse functions such as Production Operations, Production Technology, Completions & Well Intervention, Well Integrity and an SME in Artificial lift (Gas Lift). Felix has an academic background in Petroleum Engineering (BEng.) from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, and Petroleum & Energy Economics (MSc.) from Delta State University. He is a goal getter with passion for teamwork, and very strong interpersonal skills. He has ability to adapt to any working condition having worked on Assets in the deserts, and onshore fields). He gives back to the society by engaging in mentoring programs and has mentored more than 15 junior engineers in SPEI and in ADNOC in Completions & Well Intervention Practices.
